Privacy policy

PIQTIVE’s first-party analytics system is designed to collect less, preserve useful product-discovery signals, and avoid building personal profiles.

Information handled

The site can record product, guide, and comparison views; search events; and genuine affiliate-link clicks. Event data may include the page path, content identifier, CTA location, timestamp, and a random session-scoped identifier. We do not intentionally collect a name, email address, precise location, or account profile for ordinary browsing.

Search data

Search queries may be recorded to improve discovery. A random session identifier can connect a search with a later affiliate click so editors can understand whether the search was useful; it is not a customer identity or a record of a sale. Do not enter personal, financial, health, or other sensitive information into the search field.

Affiliate merchants

Following an affiliate link takes you to the merchant. The merchant’s privacy policy and cookies apply there. PIQTIVE does not receive the merchant account credentials or payment details used for a purchase.

Cookies and local storage

Public pages do not require an advertising profile cookie. First-party event components may create a random identifier in session storage that expires with the browser session. The protected admin area uses a strictly necessary, HTTP-only session cookie after successful authentication.

Service providers

No external analytics provider is currently configured. If one is added, this policy and consent behavior will be reviewed first.
